Who is CATHY HOBBS?
Cathy Hobbs is the owner and founder of the premiere interior design and home staging company Cathy Hobbs Design Recipes based in New York City. Cathy Hobbs (ASID) is an HGTV Design Star Season 6 Finalist, home stager, interior designer; and 5-time Emmy award winning television personality, she founded Cathy Hobbs Design Recipes in 2003. For seven seasons, she served as host, executive producer and owner of the self-branded design television series, Design Recipes, airing on the top rated “PIX Morning News” and evening newscasts on WPIX-TV in New York City.

A graduate of one of the top interior design programs in the country, The Fashion Institute of Technology, her commitment and vision is to make interior design approachable and affordable to all those who seek the services of a professional designer. Cathy previously served as a member of the interior design advisory committee for The Fashion Institute of Technology and currently sits on the board of the New York City Chapter of The National Kidney Foundation. Cathy also holds a degree in marketing and finance from The University of Southern California.
